Albert "Al" A. Sanchez

Albert A. Sanchez “Al” passed with his family at his side on August 3rd at the age of 86.

He led an amazing life - windsurfer, squash player, tennis aficionado, skier, swimmer, sailor, world traveler, chess player, artist and most all a loving dad, husband, brother, grandfather, and uncle.

An MIT graduate, he ran his own electrical engineering company, Sanchez Associates for many years. He was proud of his Spanish and Peruvian heritage.

He will be sadly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Cerny of Newburyport, his brother Leon Sanchez of Florida, children - Linda, Michael, Lisa and Maria, step children, many grandchildren, nieces, nephew and cousins.

His celebration of life will be held at the Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green St., Newburyport on August 11, from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M. A private burial will follow.
