Christopher J. Scolaro, age 59, of Seabrook, NH, passed on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Exeter Hospital, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the love and support of his dedicated family.
Born in Waltham, MA on May 6, 1966, he was the son of the late John J.and Marjorie A. (Lynch) Scolaro where he lived and went to school in Reading, MA.
He was an exceptional landscaper and took great pride in making peoples property look great. He was an avid musician, playing drums as well as guitar.
His friend Jean Rizzo, spent the last 7 months by his side during his battle with cancer and was a source of great support.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy Mumper and her husband Lionel of Seabrook, NH; his brother, Tory Scolaro and his wife Janice of Stoneham, MA; three nephews, Michael Mumper and his wife Ashley Lemay of East Kingston, NH, Matthew Mumper and wife Kelley of Elliot , ME and Tyler Scolaro of Stoneham, MA; two great nephews, Ryan Mumper of East Kingston, NH and Levi Mumper of Eliot , ME; two great nieces, Olivia Mumper of East Kingston, NH and Mia Mumper of Elliott, ME. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, John Scolaro.
Visiting hours will be at on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 8 AM. To 10 A.M.at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 0913, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Church of St. Andre Bessette Parish, 2 School Street, Amesbury, then a Graveside Service at Mount Prospect Cemetery, Elm Street, Amesbury, where Chris will be laid to eternal rest next to his mother, Marjorie.
