David R. Tilton

David R Tilton, age 75, of Salisbury, MA, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 15 2026, surrounded by his family.

Born in Amesbury, MA on August 5, 1950, he was the son of the late Russell C. Tilton and Lillian P. (Kelly) Buckley and was a graduate of Amesbury High School.

He was a hard worker, having been a Salisbury Fireman for several years and also worked at the Salisbury Board of Health for several years, and was a private contractor with DRTCO.

Dave loved Hot Rods, going to car shows and swap meets, and enjoyed traveling.

He leaves behind his only daughter, Sherry Clark and her husband, Jason; his brother, Wayne Tilton of Maine; a granddaughter, Faith Clark and fiance Tom Banning of CT; three great grandchildren, Ava Grimes of Amesbury, MA, Jaxon Clark of CT and Chase Banning. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Michael Buckley.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 4 to 8 P.M. at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA. David will have a private Graveside Service at Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook, NH, where he will be laid to eternal rest. Donations in memory of David R. Tilton can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
