Deborah A. Trod

Deborah A. Trod, 68, of Newbury, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026.

Born on March 29, 1957, Deborah was a lifelong resident of Newbury. She was the beloved sister of Gloria and her partner James, and Glen and his wife Patricia, and a cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews, as well as their families, all of whom she held close to her heart.

Deborah dedicated over 30 years of service to Kmart in Newburyport, where she formed lasting friendships and became a familiar, friendly face to coworkers and customers alike. Many of her closest friendships were made during her years there.

Known for her huge personality, generous spirit and genuine kindness, Deborah would do almost anything for anyone. She had a special way of making people feel cared for and loved.

Deborah had a deep and lifelong love for animals, and her compassion for them was a reflection of her gentle and caring nature.

She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
