Derek E. Michaud, age 42, of Salisbury, MA, passed suddenly at his home on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

Born in Newburyport, MA on October 21, 1983, he was the son of Cindy (Pike) Michaud and the late Ronald E. Michaud.

He is survived by his mother, Cindy (Pike) Michaud; his daughter, Shayla Darling of Arlington, MA; his brother, Matthew Michaud and wife Katie of Groveland, MA; his sister, Nicole Michaud of Portsmouth, and several nieces and nephews

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Long Hill Cemetery, 105 Beach Road, Salisbury, MA, where he will be laid to eternal rest on is father’s grave. Arrangements were by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913.
