George F. Page, 95, of Newburyport, formerly a longtime resident of Georgetown, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, at AdviniaCare of Newburyport. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Judith (Beers) Page.

Born in Beverly, Massachusetts on November 8, 1930, George was the son of Harold and Gertrude (Walsh) Page. After graduating from Beverly High School in 1948, he enlisted in the United States Air Force on August 9, 1948. During his service, George was stationed in Alaska and proudly served as a member of the Air Force ski team, He was honorably discharged on July 2, 1952, with the rank Airman First Class.

Following his military service, George attended Boston University, where he completed a program in Aircraft Mechanics. He went on to build a distinguished, 35-year career at Boston Logan International Airport, working as a mechanic for Northeast Airlines and later Delta Airlines.

George was devoted to his family and had a special fondness for dogs. He enjoyed skiing, biking, and traveling, passions he shared with his late wife, Judy. Throughout their many years of marriage, they enjoyed numerous ski and cycling trips around the world. Above all else, George treasured time spent with his family and was a devoted grandfather to Kelly and Wyatt.

He is survived by his son, Richard Page of Amherst, MA; his daughter, Barbara Kane and her husband, Kevin, of Newburyport, MA; his brothers, Buddy Page of Beverly, MA, and Jim Page and his wife, Nancy, of Georgetown, MA; his grandchildren, Kelly Kane of Newburyport, MA and Wyatt Bandy-Page of Amherst, MA; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother Billy Page and his wife, Louise; his sisters Marie Guanci and her husband, John, Angie Perkins, Peggy Crosby and her husband Carroll, and Helen Keyes and her husband Johnny; and his sister-in-law Joanne Page.

The family would like to thank the staff at AdviniaCare Newburyport for the excellent care that he received.

Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport, MA 01950. A private burial will be held in the Spring at South Byfield Cemetery in Georgetown, MA.
