Kathryn (Sullivan) Coffin

Kathryn (Sullivan) Coffin, age 84, of West Newbury, MA, passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Glenn W. Coffin.

Born in West Newbury on October 28, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Austin Sullivan and Mary (Plummer) Sullivan and was a graduate of Immaculate Conception Church of Newburyport.

For many years she had worked at Western Electric Company as a secretary. Kathryn was a longtime member of the West Newbury Fire Department Squaws. She especially loved camping in Maine with the entire family.

She is survived by her four daughters, Kimberly Watson and husband Jay, Kerry Carifio and husband Brian of East Kingston, NH, Susan Richard and husband Brian of West Newbury, and Patricia Soucey and husband Jay of West Newbury; her grandchildren who held a very special place in her heart, McKenzie and husband Joshua, and their son Beckett, Cooper and wife June, Ryan, Kyle, Jack, Ty, Dylan and Katie; her brother, Vincent Sullivan of West Newbury, MA; two sisters, Priscilla Santos and husband Donald (deceased) of Glen Burnie, MD and Louise Beard and husband “Buddy” (deceased) of West Newbury, along with several nieces, nephews and dear friends from near and far.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 10 to 11 A.M. at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA immediately followed by Funeral Service with a graveside service at Bridge Street Cemetery, where Kathryn will be laid to eternal rest beside her beloved husband, Glenn. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kathryn Coffin can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
