Lorraine M. Gaylardo

Lorraine Marie “Lolly” Gaylardo, 74, resident of Merrimac MA, has gone to eternal resting on April 7, 2026 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA. She had pancreatic cancer.

She was born in Lynn, MA on February 19, 1952, adopted by Palmer and Louise Watkins of Peabody, MA.

Lorraine became a CNA, then later graduated North Shore Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. Lorraine worked in telemetry at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA and retired from Anna Jaques Hospital in 2018.

Her hobbies included crocheting (self-taught), cooking, (large collection of crochet and cook books) baking, reading and politics.

She loved all animals especially her dog Benji. Lorrains was a very loving parent.. Her family was everything.

She was predeceased by her parents, Palmer and Louise Watkins, and her brother Sheldon Watkins and his wife Sharon. Surviving family includes her husband Bill, daughters, Melissa Ambrose and her husband Dan, Dawn Gaylardo Broadbent and her husband Tom, son Timothy Palmer Gaylardo; sister Sharon Mazzeo and her husband Ralph. Lorraine was the grandmother of Daniel Ambrose, Meghan Ambrose and Amelia Broadbent and great-grandmother of Charles Kenneth Ambrose.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11 A.M. at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2101 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 3200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90245.
