Mark S. Williams

Mark S. Williams, age 60, of Groveland, passed away March 31, 2026 at Merrimack Health Methuen Hospital.

Born April 3, 1965, in Haverhill, he was the son of the late John H. Williams Jr. and Shirley Williams. He grew up in West Newbury and graduated from Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School in 1984.

He was a longtime employee of The Boston Globe, working in the circulation department.

Beyond his work, Mark enjoyed golfing, vacationing at the family camp in Maine, and spending time outdoors in nature with his beloved dog, Winston, along with family and friends.

He is survived by his brother, Glenn, and his sister, Sheila. He was the brother of the late John H. Williams III. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Paul C. Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 36 West Main Street, Merrimac. A service at Riverside Cemetery in North Reading will be held Thursday, April 9 at 11 a.m.
