Mary E. Millett

Mary E. (Kammer) Millett, age 89, resident of Amesbury for many years, passed peacefully at the Oasis of the Conch Republic Nursing Home, Key West, Florida, on Saturday evening, July 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of 62 years of Daniel F. Millett, who passed on November 27, 2017.

Born in Baltimore, MD on June 22, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Wiley) Kammer and was a high school graduate of the Baltimore School System.

After raising her three children Mary went into the work force first at the Family Bank Haverhill, MA as a loan officer then to the IRS for many years until she retired at age 71.

Mary’s life was filled with wondrous memories that will always warm the hearts of those she loved so fondly, her four children, Daniel F. Millett, Jr. (predeceased), Daniel Jeffery Millett and his wife Cate, Michelle (Millett) Thone and Charles T. “Chuck” Millett and his fiancé, Jennifer Powers, all from the great state of Florida; her grandchildren, Adam D. Millett and Lindsey Thone both of NH; a great-granddaughter, Adara Rose Thone of MA; along with extended family and many friends from near and far.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, July 29th from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 30th at 10 A.M. at St. Joseph Church of St. Andre Bessette Parish, 2 school Street, Amesbury, MA followed by burial at Union Cemetery, Amesbury, where Mary will be laid to eternal rest with her husband Daniel and her son Daniel F. Jr. Daniel will receive Military Honors from the U.S. Navy for his 7 years of dedicated service.
