Nancy Lee (Dobson) Danielson

Nancy (Dobson) Danielson was born in Newburyport February 2, 1945. She is the daughter of Jean (Valli) Morrison. Her siblings include Suzanne Griggs, and Lance Morrison. 

She attended Newburyport High School and loved being on the cheerleading team. She had an electric personality and a gift for making everyone she met feel special. She was kind, supportive, accepting, generous, loving, and spunky. She spent most of her adult life raising her four children and being a homemaker. She loved animals, blueberry picking, collecting dolls, Avon, and silver dollars. She also loved to treasure hunt and travel with her friends, Denise Morrill, Sachiko Geekie and longtime friend, Mable Lavalley. She had many friends at the Amesbury Senior Citizen Center where she often volunteered.

She is survived by eldest daughter LeAnne Plummer and (Jason), Julie Carey, (Benjamin) Leland George Danielson, Jr. (Sandra) Jennilee Hale, (Kevin), brother-in-law, Derek Griggs, niece, Genessa Carrillo, and many more loving nieces and nephews. Her beloved grandchildren, Mackenzi Danielson, Mallory Sanders, Julia Plummer, Joshua Plummer, Althea Carey, Coltin Hale, and Tyler Hale. She is predeceased by her father, Lawrence Dobson, husband Leland G. Danielson, sister Julie Bridges, and her grandsons, Alexander Danielson and Ryder Carey.

Calling hours are December 5th at Elliott, Woodworth, Rogers Family Funeral Home at 35 Green Street, Newburyport, MA from 4-6 p.m. The reception will be held directly after at the Winner’s Circle at 211 Elm Street, Salisbury, MA.
