Patricia "Patti" Kinnane Robinson, age 67, of Salem, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 31, 2026. She is survived by her husband, Edward Stephen Robinson and her two beloved daughters, Carly Robinson of Amesbury, MA, and Lauren Farrell and husband Patrick of Charlestown, MA.

Born in Springfield, Massachusetts on February 10, 1958, Patricia was the daughter of the late Joseph Kinnane, the late Patricia (Parker) Barry, and the late Paul Barry. She was a graduate of Enfield High School.

Patti was beautiful inside and out. She had a gift for creating a home filled with beauty, comfort, good food, great music, fresh flowers, and love. She found peace in spending time near the water, snipping lilacs from a neighbor’s yard, and savoring a warm cup of coffee with plenty of cream in the morning.

She cared deeply for her family and found her greatest happiness in taking care of others. She prepared meals for local elderly neighbors, volunteered to serve holiday dinners, and stepped in quietly to care for family members whenever they needed her. She had a gift for making people feel safe, comfortable and looked after.

Patti had a lifelong love of animals, especially dogs and horses. She believed in their transformative healing power, and felt most herself in their companionship. Over the years, she adored her beloved dogs Snoopy and Beekman, and her cherished horse, Tiara - each of whom held a permanent place in her heart. In recent years, she found that same joy and comfort in her sweet dog Nigel, who was always faithfully by her side.

Professionally, Patti was a force. She possessed an instinctive understanding of design, comfort, and what makes a house feel like a home, and translated those insights into extraordinary success in the housewares industry. At a time when far fewer women occupied space in competitive sales environments, she carved out her own path and excelled. Strong, capable, and ahead of her time, Patti balanced ambition with grace, proving that a woman could thrive, lead, and succeed on her own terms. She made sure her daughters knew that they could do the same.

In addition to her husband and daughters, she leaves behind her brother, Christopher Kinnane of El Paso, TX; her sisters, Cathy Vacchelli and husband Rob of Glastonbury, CT, and Lynda Kaluzynski and husband Tom of Burnsville, NC; along with extended family and many dear friends who will miss her deeply.

In accordance with Patti’s wishes, there will be no services. In honor of her lifelong love of animals, donations in her memory may be made to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm (https://gofund.me/ae3eafaac). Arrangements were made by Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport, MA 01950.
