Paul Joseph D’Orazio

Paul Joseph D’Orazio, 85, of West Newbury, MA, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, at Port Healthcare in Newburyport, MA. Born in 1939, Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and a cherished friend to many.
He is survived by his devoted wife of thirty-two years, Suzanne D’Orazio of West Newbury, MA, as well as his six children: Kimberly D’Orazio and her partner Tom of Wenham, MA, Stephanie Migliozzi of Saluda, NC, Melanie Waldman and her husband Greg of Newburyport, MA, Anthony D’Orazio and his wife Stacy of Barrington, NH, Raina D’Orazio and her partner James of Cranston, RI, and Joseph D’Orazio of West Newbury, MA. He also leaves behind 9 beloved grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Paul graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Suffolk University, a testament to his love of learning and his thoughtful approach to life. Over the years, he owned and operated many businesses along the north shore of Massachusetts and the New Hampshire seacoast. He is best remembered by many for his ownership of “Oh Buster!” fruit and produce market in North Beverly, MA, where he became a familiar and friendly face to many in the community.
A man of deep generosity and compassion, Paul was known for always putting the needs of others before his own. His caring nature and charitable spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
A Funeral Mass will be held in his memory on December 19, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Newburyport, MA. All are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Paul’s memory to the Joslin Diabetes Center in Charlestown, MA.
