Regina J. "Jackie" (Reynolds) Smith

Regina J. “Jackie” (Reynolds) Smith, age 89, longtime resident of Haverhill, passed peacefully on Friday morning, August 29, 2025, at Aspen Hill Nursing Home in Haverhill, after a period of declining health, in the loving presence of her family. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert C. Smith, who passed on November 24, 2002.

Born in Huntington, Long Island, New York, “Jackie” was born on April 27, 1936, daughter of the late Reginald J. and Martha L. (Hauser) Reynolds. Jackie was a graduate of Littleton High School, NH, Class of 1954.

Jackie was a member of the White Shrine of Haverhill, was very active with the Rainbow Girls, Girls Scouts and Boy Scouts, and a former member of the Riverside Memorial Church of Haverhill. Jackie had been an apprentice embalmer for several years with Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home and for many years had been a Crossing Guard in Haverhill.

The wonderful memories she has shared with her family and friends will always be treasured by her children, Reginald C. Smith and wife Robin, Todd J. Smith and wife Lisa, Brian S. Smith and his wife Jocelyn, Shelley Dame Smith and her husband Robert; her two beloved step children Robert T. Smith and wife Nancie, and Linda J. Smolack and husband Paul(deceased) and their families; her eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who held the key to her heart, along with extended family and many dearfriends forever.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 12 P.M. to 3 P.M. at the Monument Square Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 334 Main Street, Haverhill, MA. A private Graveside Service will be held at the Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, NH, where Jackie will be laid to eternal rest beside her beloved husband, Bob. They are now reunited again.
