Richard A. Lunt

Richard A. Lunt, aged 78, of Amesbury, MA passed peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA, with his long time companion at his side.

He was born in Wellesley, MA on November 19, 1947, the son of John R. and Mildred J. (McGlew) Lunt.

He grew up in Newburyport, Massachusetts and attended Newburyport High School. He served 6 years in the National Guard, leaving with an Honorable Discharge.

He was a well known auto mechanic, running his own shop, specializing in VW repairs at the traffic circle in Newburyport.

He leaves behind his beloved partner Janice McCarthy and his sister Virginia Lunt.

He will be interred in the family plot at Oak Hill Cemetery with his parents and Grandparents.
