Roberta Mary Trainor

On March 4th 2024 we lost a beautiful soul.

Roberta Mary Trainor, 79, of Salisbury passed away peacefully at Pilgram Rehab & Skilled Nursing Home in Peabody after battling the past few years of Dementia.

Roberta was predeceased by her parents Mary R. (Perocchi) Hampel & Erdhart Hampel of Lawrence and her late husband Raymond Peter Trainor of Salem, MA in 1993.

Roberta worked as a special needs caregiver with AFC of Massachusetts until she took ill. Her one & only daughter Christine was her biggest devotion & shining star. The two did everything together & she enjoyed bringing her daughter to many events with Opportunity Works in Newburyport and volunteering at Lend a hand Auction, bowling, Explorers, Horizon Club, dancing classes and Karaoke at Good Fortune in Salisbury.

Roberta will be deeply missed by her daughter Christine and kitty Hersheykiss of Salisbury and all who knew & loved her....

Calling hours at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport, will be held Sunday, March 17th from 4-6 p.m. immediately followed by a service at 6 p.m. A private springtime burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Salem, MA will take place where Roberta will be laid to eternal rest next to her husband.
