Shannon Marie (Lowther) Sachetti, age 49, of Newburyport, MA, passed peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Lahey Burlington Medical Center surrounded by her beloved family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Adam Sachetti.
Born in Newburyport on January 25, 1977, she was the daughter of Roland Janvrin and Patricia (Lowther) O’Donnell and was a graduate of Newburyport High School in 1996.
Shannon had worked in customer service at the Newburyport Bank for many years. She was a member of the Newburyport Elks and was an enthusiastic sports mom.
She is survived by her husband, Adam; her mother-in-law, Sue Sachetti and husband Anthony Sachetti, Jr. of Amesbury, MA; her son, Austin Sachetti of Newburyport, MA; her daughter, Madison Sachetti of Newburyport; her brother, Anthony Lowther and wife Colby of Newburyport; her brother-in-law, Justin Sachetti and wife Krystin of East Kingston, NH; sister-in-law, Leanne Kierstead and husband Mike of Seabrook, NH, along with several nieces, nephews, and countless friends. She is predeceased by her brother, Chris Janvrin and a sister, Julie Janvrin.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026 from 4 to 8 P.M. at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the People’s United Methodist Church, 64 Purchase Street, Newburyport, followed by burial at Highland Cemetery,Newburyport, where Shannon will be laid to eternal rest.
