Teri Lee (Dow) Funk

Teri Lee (Dow) Funk, age 57, of Merrimac, MA, passed peacefully on May 16, 2025, at Beth Israel Hospital, after a valiant battle with medical issues for several years. She was predeceased by her husband of 10 years, William Funk, who passed on June 13, 2020.

Born in Haverhill, MA on December 15, 1967, she was the daughter of Brenda E. (Grazio) Dow of Merrimac, and the late Leon L. Dow, III who passed on January, 2015.

Teri loved horses and was a horse caretaker, loved cooking and baking, and was also a caregiver for several people.

She is survived by her mother, Brenda E. Dow, of Merrimac; her sister, Barbara Thornton and her partner, Jeff Lynch of Raymond, NH; and a nephew, Steven Thornton and wife Trisha of Raymond, NH. In addition to her father, Leon, she was also predeceased by her brother-in-law, Scott Thornton.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 36 West Main Street, Merrimac, immediately followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be follow at Riverview Cemetery, in Groveland, where Teri will be laid to eternal rest . Donations in memory of Teri L.
