Teresa "Terry" M. Sessions

Teresa M. (Terry Cardinale) Sessions, age 78, of Salisbury, MA, died peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA. She was the wife of the late Joseph Patrick Sessions, who had died on April 11, 2007.

Born in Boston, MA on September 29, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence V. Cardinale and Gertrude T. (Harris) Cardinale. Terry grew up in Brookline, MA, where she attended St. Mary’s High School and lived most of her life on Plum Island.

She is survived by her son, Patrick M. Sessions and his wife Melissa of Salisbury; two grandsons, Kelly and Keagan Sessions; three sisters, Susan Rubendall and her husband Rob of Rindge, NH, Laureen Nason, and Annette Rothwell and her husband Paul of South Carolina; three nephews, Jesse Rubendall, and Sam and Harrison Rothwell; along with many cousins and extended family members.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026 from 8 A.M. to 10 A.M. at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport, MA 01950, followed by a Memorial Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 42 Green Street, Newburyport, and after the Memorial Mass, a Graveside Service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Newburyport, where Teresa’s ashes will be placed next to her husband, Joseph, and they will be reunited again in eternity.
