Therese M. "Terry" Rogers

Therese M. “Terry” (Sampson) Rogers, age 71, resident of Haverhill for many years, passed peacefully at home on Thursday, June 18, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of Michael N. Rogers, happily married for 34 years.

Born in Haverhill, MA on September 5, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. “Sammy” Sampson and the late Bella M. R. (Descheneau) Sampson and had attended Haverhill High School.

Terry, as she was known by many, had been an engineering Tech for Phillips Medical in Andover for many years.

Her life was filled with much joy in raising her son and was blessed with two grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She was always very kind to everyone and loved to share Werthers candies. Terry and Mike loved to travel, especially to Aruba, which was one of their favorite places, and Terry always looked forward to spending week-ends at their pool, weather providing.

Her life’s legacy will always be treasured by her wonderful husband, Michael; her son, Glen Chase and his wife Christine of Pelham, NH; her grandchildren, Caden and Campbell Chase of Pelham, NH; her brother-in-law, Richard P. Shimanski of Haverhill; her niece, Pamela Shimanski and husband Brian of Danville, NH; along with extended family and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her twin sisters, Jane DeLeo and Jean L. Shimanski; her brother, Joseph E. Sampson, and her nephew, Richard P. Shimanski Jr.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 4 to 7 P.M. at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 334 Main Street, Haverhill, MA 01830. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Patrick Cemetery, 395 North Broadway, Haverhill, MA, where Terry will be laid to eternal rest.
